Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Custom designed Scrapbook vs. a Premade Scrapbook?
A custom designed scrapbook is created based on your specific requested theme and style with added care to coordinate page decor to your pictures, specific to each layout. A premade scrapbook also has hand-crafted designed pages, but you will add your photos and journaling after the album is completed.
What is a Custom designed Shadowbox vs. a Premade Shadowbox?
Similar to scrapbooks, a custom designed shadowbox is created based on your specific requested theme and style with added care to coordinate page decor to your picture(s). A premade shadowbox also has a hand-crafted 3D designed page, but you will add your photo(s) and journaling after the shadowbox is completed.

If you are sending already printed photo prints to me, please separate photos by event and place into different envelopes indicating the event name and date and mail these to me (tracked and insured). My mailing address will be provided upon order acceptance.
How long does it take for a custom project to be completed?
For custom scrapbooks, project completion time varies based on the album size and length. We will discuss this and have a set agreed upon date in our signed contract.
For custom shadowboxes, project completion time is based on the number of other customers’ orders waiting to be completed and will also be discussed and agreed upon and written in our signed contract.
What payment methods do you accept?
I accept all major Credit Cards, PayPal, and Venmo.
What does archival quality, photo safe, acid-free, and lignin-free mean?
Archival Quality – using materials to preserve photos and memorabilia long term, resistant to deterioration. Involves using acid-free, lignin-free, & pH neutral products to prevent brittleness & yellowing over time.
Photo Safe – using acid-free and lignin-free materials to preserve photographs from deterioration or damage over time.
Acid-Free – made from pulp with a pH above 7, and it is also buffered with calcium carbonate to neutralize acids formed with aging.
Lignin-Free – paper that has less than 1% lignin. It is important that scrapbook/shadowbox materials are acid-free & lignin-free to prevent yellowing, brittleness, and deterioration over time.
How many photos will I be able to have in my custom scrapbook album?
Each project will allow for a different average number of photos, depending on the page size, photo size, and number of pages in your book. For example, using a standard 4” x 6” photo:
6” X 6” album page: 1 photo/page side
maximum of 24 photos for a 12-page book
8” x 8” album page: 1 photo/page side
maximum of 24 photos for a 12-page book
maximum of 72 photos for a 36-page book
12” x 12” album page: 1-3 photos/page side
maximum of 72 photos for a 12-page book
maximum of 216 photos for a 36-page book
